Katie Gemmell

Katie Gemmell is a PhD Candidate studying history of education under Professor Penney Clark at the University of British Columbia. Prior to graduate work, she taught social studies and history in the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese. She is currently managing editor of Historical Studies in Education/Revue d’histoire de l’éducation and secretary/treasurer for the Canadian History of Education Association/Association canadienne d’histoire de l’éducation.
